Michael Lenertz, DPM

Michael Lenertz, DPM is a native of North Dakota. He thoroughly enjoys taking care of patients and figuring out how to treat difficult foot and ankle conditions. He loves conversing with patients as well. He graduated from Des Moines University with his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree in 2004. Dr. Lenertz completed advanced training in foot and ankle surgery at the VA in Denver, Colorado in 2007. Dr. Lenertz is board certified in foot surgery by The American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He is also a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and Texas Podiatric Medical Association. When not at work, he enjoys spending time with his family. Dr. Lenertz and his wife have 5 daughters. He enjoys hunting and fishing and woodworking projects. He loves traveling with his wife of 25+ years. Dr. Lenertz relaxes by cooking/baking/grilling for family and friends.

Tracy Hjelmstad, DPM

Tracy Hjelmstad, DPM, provides surgical and nonsurgical treatment for the full range of foot and ankle disorders. A native of North Dakota, Dr. Hjelmstad earned his undergraduate degree from the University of North Dakota before obtaining a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, OH. Dr. Hjelmstad obtained his post graduate training in Minneapolis, completing a residency in Primary Podiatric Medicine and an additional Podiatric Surgery Residency with a focus on Reconstructive Foot and Ankle Surgery in the Allina Health Care System. Dr. Hjelmstad is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the American Academy of Podiatric Practice Management. In his free time, he enjoys travelling, hunting and fishing, and spending time with his children.
